Mummmyy !! It's OVER!!

It's been quite some time since I blogged, too busy mugging in the past few weeks. But oh yeah, its finally over!

Speeches, completed
Java project, finished
Exams, over

I'm a free man finally!!! That feeling of freedom and joy is unspeakable, and it's been such a LONG time since I've felt it. Will be going back to school again tomorrow, but for the first time, for a fun purpose. No more mugging, at least not for the next month:)

Gonna watch Chicken Little next week, been wanting to watch it since I first saw that mobile phone advert in the cinemas! I think we're all addicted to that song, oh no!! Haha, hope it'll be great! I can't wait for next Tuesday..

Anway, next up, a tribute to my wonderful classmates who helped me through this semester! Will be SO SAD next term, wont have many classes together, but FriendsForever K!

LTB is finally over!

After all the weeks of preparation, it all accumulates to one day of presentation and handing of work! No more learning journal, finished final presentation! I AM FREE AT LAST!!

Final presentation was great... real fun, all the others were great! I especially liked Yuanru and Wilson's group's informal SURVIVOR style, as well as Andrew and Gina's play-like conflict management. Kudos to you all guys! Anyway, I like to think of our LOTR theme as a big hit as well, or so I hope! Haha.

As tribute to my dear LTB team, our last day of work together! It's been great fun guys, the ' 'handsome elf' Legolas - Claude, the funny dwarf Gimli - Koon Kiat, the shameless hobbit "Freya" - Nika, the other hobbit Samantha - XiaoWei and of course my fellow human Aragon - Li Cheng!! Oh yes, and Joshua as well, our dear TA (although I still remember you sleeping on our CAMERAman day!:P) Thank you all for this great LTB experience! It's been a good 13 weeks, despite all the setbacks and conflicts we faced, WE DID IT! *Cheers*

Later, we went out for dinner together at glass house Fish n Co to celebrate the END OF LTB. Besides Nika who had to go comfort a distraught friend.. Anyway, its been quite some time since I've been there, but the service was especially good today, much better than I remembered. Haha, maybe its just the friendly waitress. 3 of us ordered the usual fish and chips, and the other 3, swordfish collar... Talk about being SHEEP! :P

After dinner, Koon Kiat left, while the rest of us went to KTV. Now... THAT's a real long time since I last sang at KTV. It was great fun... Unnoticed talent of Li Cheng... if you want to quit school next time, tell me! I wanna be your manager.. and you can be a great singer:P Joshua and I showed off our falsettos too! *Cringe* BEE GEES ROX!!! Haha

Will try and post picts another time when I get them from Xiao Wei and Nika, gotta go do some research now:( Tata..

Timetables

SMU was amazingly quick to provide us with next term's timetable. I must say I'm both pleasantly and unpleasantly surprised. My impression of the administration so far has not been very good, but this speed of which we receive our timetables is impressive... After all, this term hasn't even ended yet! BUT! Why are all my courses pre-assigned?? What happened to autonomy... What happened to choosing and bidding our own timings?? Is this how we're going to be different? To lose our choices?

Yet, what can I do... Is it me being too dependent on friends? Am I wrong to want to have a shared time table with friends I know and can talk to? Or should I be happy to make new friends...

A little confused, a little depressed.. Hoping to find someone to mutually swap with..

Why didn't they release this information 2 weeks later? There's a whole term holiday for us to meditate on our time table and any changes. Certainly, its now an unwelcome distraction nagging at me, despite the tight deadlines I have. It's crunch time now, 2 weeks of deadlines after deadlines after deadlines to rush. Can I make it? I hope so. Have never worked so hard or felt so stressed in my life. A good experience perhaps, and certainly my own fault for not doing more earlier.

A lesson learnt, hopefully, or next term will be worse. 6 modules, not a laughing matter when I'm struggling with 4 now. Wish me luck!
